Before you suspend your telecom services, figure out how to attempt to track down a lost or stolen cell phone or tablet.
How do I find my lost or stolen phone?
Use your phone's built-in Global Positioning System (GPS), or use Alternative or third-party GPS locator apps and add-ons. The apps or add-ons must have been activated before your device was lost or stolen.
Ways to locate your phone
Use your device's GPS Locator Or, use an Alternative or third-party app or add-on.
To find your device:
- Sign in to the account associated with your device or activated app or add-on
- iOS - iPhone
- Android Phone
- Windows Phone
- Samsung Phone
- Xiaomi Phone
- Follow the prompts to call the device or find it using GPS
What to do if you can’t find your device
Be Sure to:
- Lock or reset your phone using an alternative or third-party app or add-on that was activated before the phone was lost or stolen.
- Suspend service and block your phone from telecom network if it's stolen.
- Change your passwords for other accounts on your phone device. This includes your Apple® ID, Facebook®, Twitter, Instagram, Gmail ID, BHIM, Phonepe, Google Pay, Banking Apps and email accounts.
- Report any credit cards saved on your device as lost.
Important details
- GPS enabled: GPS must be enabled and the phone device powered on to work.
- .App download may be required. Compatible device and account registration required. Data and messaging rates may apply for app download and usage. The apps and built-in features must be already installed on the device or activated on the account. After you suspend your device, the apps and features won't be available.
