However, Jio rolled out an offer called Jio Prime in the month of March, wherein an existing Jio user can still continue with the same data plan on offer during the Happy New Year offer period by paying an annual membership fee of Rs. 99 and a monthly recharge of Rs. 309 which gives an upper data usage limit of 1 GB per day, which comes to 28 GB for 28 days.
Another option for the Jio Prime subscribers is the Rs 509 plan which gives 56 GB for 28 days with an upper data usage limit of 2GB per day. The last date for subscribing to the Jio Prime membership has been extended from 31 March 2017 to 15 April 2017. The latest offer is the Jio Dhan Dhana Dhan offer, which allows Jio Prime members to avail three 28 days recharge cycle worth of services including unlimited data, free SMSs and voice calls, for a one-time payment.
Under this offer, these users will get 84 GB of data for 84 days with a recharge of Rs. 309 with an upper limit of usage of 1 GB per day and 168 GB of data for 84 days with a recharge of Rs. 509 with an upper limit of usage of 2 GB per day. This offer will be valid only for the three recharge cycles corresponding to the first recharge. Subsequent recharges will be valid for only one recharge cycle of 28 days.
